The UK Accelerated Settlement Taskforce is pleased to be an official event partner of City & Financial’s Implementing the UK’s Wholesale Financial Markets Digital Strategy Summit.

Andrew Douglas, Chair of the Accelerated Settlement Taskforce, will chair the day’s proceedings, leading a day of discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing the UK’s wholesale financial markets.

The summit will bring together market participants, policymakers and industry experts to examine the UK’s transition towards fully digitalised wholesale financial markets.

Attendees will gain practical insight into the move to T+1 settlement in October 2027, the removal of paper-based processes and the growing role of tokenisation, digital settlement and AI.

Chris Woolard CBE, Wholesale Digital Markets Champion, and Sasha Mills, Executive Director, Financial Market Infrastructure at the Bank of England, will deliver keynote addresses.
