The UK Accelerated Settlement Taskforce (AST), alongside DTCC and Euroclear, is hosting an event focused on the final phase of preparation for the UK’s transition to T+1 settlement.

With just one year remaining until implementation, the afternoon will feature a keynote address from The Rt Hon Lucy Rigby KC MP, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, alongside panel discussions and fireside chats with representatives from the FCA, State Street, Morgan Stanley, UBS, CREST, FMSB and other industry leaders. Sessions will explore pre-settlement automation, regulatory expectations, cross-market collaboration, settlement and asset servicing in a T+1 environment.

The event will bring together participants from across the trade lifecycle to discuss the operational, regulatory and market infrastructure priorities firms need to address now to support a successful transition to T+1.
